How to Apply for Membership

  1. NYSSA: Apply online on the NYSSA site. This is the easiest way to apply and download your membership voucher.
  2. Print and Mail Application:
    To apply by mail, print the membership form and send it to:

    Mexico, NY 13114-0564
  3. Apply Online and Pay in Person:
    Members can apply online and, if payment is required, pay in person. Please note that your application will not be processed until payment is received.

Voucher Notes

If you encounter any issues receiving or printing your voucher via email, please contact our Membership Secretary at mexico.trailriders@icloud.com as soon as possible for assistance.

Membership Application Notes

We offer two types of memberships: Regular and Gratuitous/Landowner. Gratuitous/Landowner memberships are available to individuals who allow our trails to cross their property or make substantial contributions to the club. If neither of these applies to you, please select the Regular membership. All membership types will be verified before processing.

You also have the option to upgrade your NYSSA membership to the Trail Defender level. By selecting this option, you are opting for the Trail Defender membership instead of the basic NYSSA membership, at an additional cost of $20.

If you’ve already joined NYSSA through another club, you can claim an exemption for a total cost of $24.00. This must be done in person at one of our regular meetings.

What’s Included with Your MTR Membership:

  • State registration voucher
  • Decal
  • Map

For the DMV voucher, we need the exact names and addresses as they appear on ALL vehicle registrations.

Important Notes:

  • We’ve provided spaces for six names: Member, Spouse (married or not), and up to four children.
  • If you need to include additional names, please write them on a separate sheet or the back of the form.
  • All addresses must be the same, as this defines a family in
